Savannah - Foreman Jackson, 85, died Tuesday, June 15, 2010 at his residence.
The Hinesville native served in the U.S. Navy and was a carpenter. He was a foster parent for many years and was preceded in death by his wife, Lola Yawn; and son, James.
Survivors include his children, Douglas, Francis, John, Donald, and Kirk Jackson, Nancy Ring, Brandy Stafford, Victoria and Savannah Jackson; granddaughters, Victoria and Haley Jackson and numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren; sister, Lena Dixon.
Visitation will be 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. Friday at the funeral home.
Funeral services will be 10 a.m. Saturday in the chapel.
Interment will be in Greenwich Cemetery.
