Mr. Foster Thrift, 91, of Garden City, passed away on Saturday, February 17, 2018.

Mr. Thrift was born in Waycross to the late Lonnie & Bertie Thrift.  He was also preceded in death by his wife, Reba N. Thrift and a son, Jerry Thrift.  He retired from Union Camp after 43 years of service.

Survivors include his son, Ricky Thrift; daughter-in-law (Jerry's wife), Pat Thrift; grandchildren, Becky Thrift, Jeffrey Thrift, Jason Thrift, Micah O'Brien and Kortney Thrift; great-grandchildren, Harper and Maverick O'Brien; sister-in-law, Betty Thrift and several nieces and nephews.

The visitation will be on Wednesday at Woodlawn Baptist Church from 12 until 1 p.m. with the funeral to follow at 1 p.m.  Burial will follow at Forest Lawn Memory Gardens.

In lieu of flowers, remembrances may be given to Woodlawn Baptist Church, 407 Talmadge Avenue, Garden City, GA  31408.
