Mrs. Frances Dolores Bennett Denison, 85, of Rincon, Georgia, passed away on Wednesday, March 19, 2025.

Dolores was born in Glynn County and had lived in Port Wentworth for a number of years before moving to Rincon.  She was preceded in death by her husband of 42 years, Jimmy Denison, as well as her parents, Marcellus Douglas Bennett and Martha Davis Tucker.  She was a member of the former Fellowship Assembly of God in Garden City as well as the former owner/operator of The Butterfly Christian Bookstore in Garden City for many years.  Her life was a deep reflection of her strong, Christian faith, and her deep love for her family.  She was quick to witness to others, enjoyed singing and drawing.  She will be remembered for being a loving wife, mother, and grandma.

Survivors include her children, Malcolm Denison (Darlene), Tony Denison (Mary), Raina Martin (Lawrence), and Doug Denison (Vanessa); grandchildren, Stacy Dickey, Ashley Burns, Tabitha Johnson, Tori Hughes, Dylan Denison, Hunter Denison, Taylor Denison, Matthew Martin, Jamison Martin, Nicholas Denison, and Makenzie Denison; several great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren.

The visitation will be on Saturday, March 22, 2025 from 11 a.m. until 12 noon at the funeral home.  The funeral to honor Dolores' life will follow at 12 noon in the chapel of the funeral home with Pastor David Riner officiating.  Burial will follow at Hillcrest Abbey West Cemetery.
