Springfield - Frances Edwards Bragg, 82, passed away Friday, April 23, 2010 at
Effingham Extended Care.

The Effingham County native was a member of Bethel Lutheran Church and a
homemaker. In 2008 she was appointed an honorary life member with the Effingham
Hospital Auxiliary having volunteered over 3000 hours. She was preceded in death by
her parents, Jasper Franklin Edwards, Sr. and Walton Seckinger Edwards; husband,
Wilbur K. Bragg; and brother, Charles Edwards.

Survivors include her sons, Mike (Joyce) Bragg of Springfield, Dale (Denise) Bragg of
Guyton, and Rickie (Cathy) Bragg of Clyo; 7 grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren;
brother, Jasper Franklin (Nita) Edwards, Jr. of Springfield; and several nieces and
nephews.

Visitation will be 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. Saturday at the funeral home.

Funeral services will be 4 p.m. Sunday at Bethel Lutheran Church.

Interment will be in the church cemetery.
