Pooler-Mrs. Frances Ann Chance, 71, passed away peacefully on Monday, December 30, 2013 at Hospice Savannah after a long battle with cancer. Her loving husband and family was by her side.
Ann was born on December 19, 1942 to the late Francis and Eunice Pevey of Savannah, GA.
Ann is survived by her loving husband, Don; daughter, Patricia (Dana) Jones of Bradenton, FL; a son, Kevin Shuman of Bradenton, FL; two step-daughters, Kimberly (Bernie) Sheets of Port Wentworth, GA and Lori (Bob) Laskovics of Pittsburgh, PA; a brother, Ben (Dale) Pevey of Savannah, GA; a granddaughter, Alexus Jones of Bradenton, FL; step-grandchildren, Christina Asbury of Ellabell, GA; step-grandsons, Ashley Sheets of Atlanta, GA, and Chance Smith of Pittsburgh, PA; step-great-grandson, Ashton Sheets of Port Wentworth, GA, as well as several nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews.
The family will receive friends from 6-8 p.m. on Wednesday at the Thomas C. Strickland & Sons Funeral Home in Pooler.
The funeral will be at 11 a.m. on Thursday in the chapel of the funeral home with burial to follow at Hillcrest Abbey West Cemetery.
