Frances Beasley Clemmons

Guyton- Frances Beasley Clemmons, 92, died Friday, May 25, 2018 at Effingham Care Center.

She was born in Bulloch County January 10, 1926 to Burney G. and Katie E. Beasley. She was a graduate of Stilson High School and attended Draughons Business College. She was a member of Tusculum Christian Church, where she served as a Sunday School teacher for many years. She worked for Effingham County Board of Education, Civil Service, U.S. Engineers, and retired from Candler Hospital of 13 years in 1989. She was an avid gardener and loved life and her family.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Henry "Brownie" Clemmons; brothers, Logan Beasley, Clem C. Beasley, D.T. Beasley, James Beasley, Dennis Beasley; sisters, Wilma Beasley and Betty Beasley; and her parents, Burney G. & Katie E. Beasley.

She is survived by her son and daughter-in-law, Woody and Marcy Clemmons; daughters and son-in-law, Kathy and Raymond Deal, Linda Stylianou, Brenda Clemmons, and Martha Haynes; 14 grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; a great-great-granddaughter; and several nieces and nephews.

Visitation: 6-8 pm Tuesday, May 29, 2018 in the funeral home.

Funeral: 11 am Wednesday, May 30, 2018 in the funeral home chapel.

Interment: Guyton Cemetery.
