Mrs. Frances Annette Miller, 84, of Meldrim, GA, passed away on Sunday, April 16, 2023 at her home.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Osbert and Frances Johnson, her husband, Wrex L. Miller, and a son-in-law, Louis Walz.  Annette was a long time and faithful member of Meldrim Baptist Church.  She loved tending in her flower garden and baking, she was famous for her 12 layer chocolate cake.  She was employed for many years at the Tell and Sell Shopper.

Survivors include her daughters, June (Rocker) Hartley of Metter, GA, Jean Walz of Guyton, GA and Becky (James) Miller of Guyton, GA; grandchildren, Danny (Beth) Hartley of Statesboro, GA, Drew (Rebekah) Hartley of Germantown, TN, Tiffany (Stephen) Bradley of Rincon, GA, Christopher D. Walz of Guyton, GA, Madison Miller of Guyton, GA, and Trey Miller of Guyton, GA; great-grandchildren, Rex Hartley of Statesboro, GA, Harrison Hartley of Germantown, TN, Miller Bradley of Rincon, GA, and Louis B. Bradley of Rincon, GA; brothers, Robert (Patsy) Johnson and Alton (Trisha) Johnson of Metter, GA; sister-in-law, Ramona Miller Costlow, and many beloved nieces and nephews.

The visitation will be on Tuesday, April 18, 2023 from 5 p.m. until 7 p.m. at the funeral home.

The funeral will be on Wednesday, April 19, 2023 at 11 a.m. at Meldrim Baptist Church located at 268 Oconee Avenue in Meldrim.  The burial will follow at Oak Hill Cemetery in Meldrim.
