Francis J. "Frank" Holt, MD
Savannah – Francis J. "Frank" Holt, MD, 86, passed away on Thursday at The Place at Pooler under hospice care.
Dr. Holt attended Wayne University in Detroit earning a medical degree. He served his country in the Army during WWII as well as serving in the U.S. Navy. He had an internship in the U.S. Navy in Rhode Island and a residency at the University of Michigan in Ann Arbor, Michigan. He was also a Chief Medical Officer with ATAC in Warren, Michigan for twenty years.
Survivors include his wife, Marianne Wahla Holt; children, Luanne Holt and John Holt; a brother, Dr. William Holt (Ann) and ten nieces and nephews.
There will be a funeral service in Port Huron, Michigan on Wednesday, September 3, 2014.
