Mr. Francis Gerald Long "Jerry" "F.G.", 81, of Pooler, Georgia, passed away on Friday, December 30, 2022 at his home.

Mr. Long was born in Talladega, AL to the late William Francis Long and Mable Quick Long.  He grew up in Savannah and was a member of Trinity United Methodist Church in Pooler.  He was a self-employed Electrical Engineer and had worked at GA Pacific for 10 years.  He was a member of the Christian Motorcycle Association, the Harley Davidson Motorcycle Club, and the A.M.A.  He enjoyed taking his family camping, being a photographer, and served his country for 5 years in the Army National Guard and for 26 years in the Air National Guard.

Survivors include his wife of 59 years, Linda Beebe Long; children, Michelle Liotta (Steve), and Michael Long (Jennifer); grandchildren, Madison Liotta, Karilee Clifton, and Brandon Long; four great-grandchildren; siblings, Dr. Gregory Long and Janice MacInnes, as well as several nieces and nephews.

The visitation will be on Thursday, January 5, 2023 from 6 p.m. until 8 p.m. at the funeral home.

The service to honor Mr. Long's life will be on Friday, January 6, 2023 at 1:30 p.m. in the chapel of the funeral home with Rev. Leo Galletta and Rev. Tom Dent officiating.  Burial will follow at Forest Lawn Memory Gardens.
