Guyton – Frank Lewis, 79, passed away April 14, 2023 at his residence.

The Chatham County native was a member of Sand Hill Baptist Church and retired from the Boilermaker's Union Local #26.  He was a former Fire Chief and he loved the river.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Oscar and Wilma Lewis; and wife, Myra W. Lewis.

Survivors include his sons, Tim (Mary) Lewis and Scott (Alecia) Lewis; grandchildren, Tim (Abbie), Cooper (Hannah), Taylor, Skylar, Lizzy, and Shelby; great-grandchildren, Harper, Olivia, and Titus; a number of nieces and nephews; and his loving caregiver, Ruth Bell.

Visitation will be 1 p.m. to 1:45 p.m. Sunday, April 16, 2023 at Sand Hill Baptist Church followed by graveside services at 2 p.m. in the church cemetery.
