Frank J. Satka, Jr. passed away on Tuesday, July 2, 2024 in Pooler, Georgia.  He is preceded in death by parents Frank J. Satka Sr. and Bernice C. Satka, as well as his brother Edward J. Satka.  He is survived by three children, Brian Satka, Lisa M. Twomey (James K.) and Debra M. Satka; three grandsons, Brandon M.L., Taylor J. (Miranda), James H. Jr. (Alana) Malphrus, and great-granddaughter, Payson F. Malphrus.  Originally from Hamtramck, Michigan, Frank was a proud U.S. Army Veteran whose unit was first to be stationed at Hunter Army Airfield in Savannah, Georgia.  He was a graduate of the Detroit Engineering Institute and employed as a machinist with General Electric in Detroit, Michigan for 30 years until retirement.  He enjoyed traveling to Arizona for the casinos and Florida for the warmth but found home in Savannah, Georgia near his children and grandsons.  Everyone he encountered got a hello and he didn't let you leave without a thumbs up or heart.  He will be missed by many.  In lieu of flower or donations, please buy a lottery ticket in his memory.  Private memorial services at a later date.  Thomas C.
