Mr. Franklin Dewayne Kicklighter, Sr., 69, passed away on Wednesday, May 7, 2014 under the care of Gentiva Hospice.
Mr. Kicklighter was born in Glennville to the late Billy & Frances Kicklighter. He was also preceded in death by a son, Edward Eugene Kicklighter. He was a master plumber and the owner/operator of Kicklighter Plumbing Company. He was also a member of Landmark Holiness Church.
Survivors include his loving wife of 51 years, Diane Kicklighter; son and his fiance, Franklin Dewayne Kicklighter, Jr. & Madeline Collins; grandchildren, Dee Kicklighter, Mary Kicklighter, Margaret Kicklighter and Meghan Kicklighter; two sisters and a brother-in-law, Emojean Thomas, and Sandra & Billy Handy; also several nieces and nephews.
Visitation: 5-7 p.m. on Friday at the funeral home.
Funeral: 7 p.m. on Friday in the chapel of the funeral home.
Graveside funeral and burial: 10 a.m. on Saturday at Forest Lawn Memory Gardens located 315 Greenwich Road in Savannah.
