Fred M. Boyd

Bluffton, SC- Fred M. Boyd, 74, died Friday, August 31, 2018 at MUSC in Charleston.

The Savannah native was an accountant, having worked at Kaiser Agricultural Chemicals, T.D. Reese Construction and his own business, Padgett Business Services. Fred loved tractors, motorcycles, computers, his dog "Ellie", and tinkering and repairing things. He was preceded in death by his parents, L.M. & Florice Boyd. He was also one of the original members of the Prichardville Volunteer Fire Department.

He is survived by his son and his wife, Fred Compton Boyd & Tammy Boyd; sister and her husband, Patricia Boyd & Robert Boyd; a niece, Angela P. Jackson; and several cousins.

Graveside services: 11 am Saturday, September 8, 2018 at Bethesda United Methodist Church Cemetery.
