Mr. Fred Riser, Sr.

Garden City-Mr. Fred Riser, Sr., 55, died on Monday, April 21, 2008 at Hospice
Savannah.

Mr. Riser was born in Bulloch County and was preceded in death by his mother, Janie B.
Riser. He was an auto mechanic and served in the U.S. Army during the Vietnam era.

Survivors include his son, Earl Riser and a granddaughter, Jessica Riser, both of Garden
City.

The visitation for Mr. Riser will be from 5-7 p.m. on Wednesday, April 23, 2008 at the
Thomas C. Strickland & Sons Funeral Home, West Chatham Chapel.

The funeral to honor Mr. Riser's life will be at 3:30 p.m. on Thursday, April 24, 2008 in
the chapel of the Thomas C. Strickland & Sons Funeral Home. Burial will follow at
Lanes Primitive Baptist Church Cemetery with Rev. Kenny Harrelson officiating. Active
Pallbearers will be Phillip Orren, Chris Williams, Ryan Lee, Charlie Doster, Charles
Argo and Joe Gilliard. Honorary Pallbearers will be John Lowery and Calvin Doster.
