Mr. Freddie Rose, 79, of Eden passed away Monday August 22, 2022, at Effingham Health System.

He was born January 19, 1943, in Savannah.  He retired from International Paper and was a member of South Newington Baptist Church.  He was preceded in death by his parents, Alfred and Katie Rose; his wife, Shirley Rose; and a sister, Geraldine Rose.

He is survived by his children, Sandy (Paul) Deloach, Cathy (Henry) Hall, Robby (Amy) Chase, Victoria (David) Burney, Helen Ramaglia and Michelle (Jim) Lanier Norwood; grandchildren, John Ford, Marie Hall, Damon Chase, Nicole Conner, Faith Chase, Charles Norwood and James Norwood.

The visitation will be held on Wednesday August 24, 2022 from 5 until 7 PM at the West Chatham Chapel in Pooler, GA.  Funeral services will be held on Thursday, August 25, 2022 at 11 AM at South Newington Baptist Church with Rev. Matt Gallant officiating.  The interment will be held on Thursday August 25, 2022 at 3 PM in Brewton Cemetery in Hagan, GA.
