Guyton – Frederick Otis Cone, 82, passed away February 21, 2025 at his residence.

His passions were traveling, eating good food, and his work, he retired at the age of 82 @ 4:30 a.m. on February 21, 2025.  He formerly owned Savannah Industrial Supply and now was the owner/operator of Cone Industrial Supply with his longtime business partner and friend, Jackie Nease.

He was preceded in death by his parents, John Perry Cone and Lillian Elizabeth Cone Finch; his wife of over 40 years, Merle Pittman Cone; and brother, John P. Cone.

Survivors include his children, Melanie Cone McCall (David), Shelba Cone Kieffer (Allen), Charles E. Hodges (Tammy), Bill Hodges (Debbie), Mitchel Hodges, and Kellie Hodges Annas (Robert); grandchildren, Benjamin Nutting (Trish), Christopher Kieffer (Mattie), Allison Kieffer Rahn (Zeke), Benjamin Hodges, Joshua Hodges, Amy Powell, Jennifer Groves, Mitch Hodges, Shawn Hodges, Michael Deal, Anthony Hodges, Gabe Hodges, and Jessica Kile; great-grandchildren, Damon Nutting, Mason Nutting, and Hollynn Rahn; sisters, Lisa Dean (Eddie) and Cyndy Cone; and several nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be 2 p.m. to 3 p.m. Sunday, February 23, 2025 at the funeral home followed by funeral services at 3 p.m. in the chapel.

Interment will follow in North Salem Baptist Church Cemetery.
