Rincon – Fulton Bartow Murphy, Jr., 65, passed away February 12, 2023 at his sister's residence.

The Chatham County native was a tow truck driver whom loved to work.  He loved his dogs, enjoyed traveling, shopping, yard sales, flea markets, and was always on the go.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Fulton Bartow Murphy, Sr. and Mildred Faye Barrow Murphy; and his wife, Janet Marie Fox Murphy.

Survivors include his children, Timothy Fox (Christina Hodges), Alex Murphy (Jessica), Jessica Flowers (Kevin), and Mark "Buddy" Murphy; grandchildren, Trey Fox, Emerald Fox, Jewel-Lee Fox, Austin Hays, Jacob Hays, Bleu Hodges, Tommy Murphy, Dillon Murphy, Kaleb Murphy, Haley Murphy, Courtney Cassidy (Jacob), and Cali Flowers; siblings, George Everett Jones, Ponzelle Rivenbark Barrow (Curtis), and April Murphy Aeger (Mike); and a number of nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. Friday, February 17, 2023 at the funeral home.
