Rincon – Furman Parker Rahn, 63, passed away June 30, 2022 at his residence.

The Effingham County native worked in the family logging business for many years where they were the recipients of the "Logger of the Year Award", was a business owner, and was now employed with the Colonial Group.  He loved working outdoors, tractors, but most of all loved his family and spending time with his grandchildren.  He was an avid Georgia Bulldogs fan and enjoyed all sports.

He was preceded in death by his father, William Carswell Rahn.

Survivors include his wife, Linda Bullard Rahn; daughter, Stacy Kathryn Rahn Boyles (Joseph); son, Matthew P. Rahn; grandchildren, Hudson Boyles and Reese Boyles; his mother, Julia Exley Rahn; brother, Barnard Rahn; and several nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be 1 p.m. to 2:45 p.m. Saturday, July 2, 2022 at Jerusalem Lutheran Church followed by funeral services at 3 p.m.

Interment will follow in the church cemetery.
