Gaisy Usher Hodges

Swainsboro/ Springfield- Gaisy Usher Hodges, 92, passed away on June 14, 2012 at Emanuel Medical Center in Swainsboro.

The Effingham County native was a member of Springfield United Methodist Church, and had moved to Swainsboro over 2 years ago. She was preceded in death by her husband, Norman Hodges; brother, George Usher; sister, Irma Hammond; son-in-law, Jim Wilcox; and granddaughter, Katie Wilcox.

Survivors include her son, Calvin (Faye) Hodges of Savannah; daughters, Norma (Julian) Sconyers of Swainsboro and Dora Wilcox of Jacksboro, TN; 5 grandchildren; and 8 great-grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held 11 am Saturday, June 16, 2012 at Springfield United Methodist Church with visitation one hour prior to the service in the church.

Interment: Springfield Cemetery Annex
