Obituary
Ellabell-Mr. Gardie Lyvon Overstreet, 64, passed away on Wednesday, December 8,
2010.
Mr. Lyvon was born in Savannah to the late Gardie & Sarah Overstreet. He was a
member of Bull Street Baptist Church and retired from Savannah Gas Company. He was
also preceded in death by two brothers, Glen and Jimmy Overstreet.
Survivors include his wife, Joyce Bateman Overstreet of Ellabell and a number of nieces,
nephews and cousins.
Visitation: 5-8 p.m. Friday at the funeral home.
Funeral: 1 p.m. Saturday in the chapel of the funeral home with burial to follow at Lower
Black Creek Cemetery.
