Rincon – Garry Owen Gwyn Jones, 78, passed away August 20, 2024 at his home.

Born on May 6, 1946 in Peterborough, England to the late Evan Gwyn Jones and Mary Dudley Jackson Jones.  He served in the Welsh Guards and retired as a Detective from Scotland Yard.  He was an avid shooter, loved jazz and playing the saxophone.  He enjoyed cars, boats, and WWII airplanes.  Garry was a wonderful, fun, loving husband and dad.

Survivors include his wife of 53 years, Bridget Gwyn-Jones; son, Oliver Owen Gwyn-Jones; daughter and son-in-law, Eleanor Elizabeth Rhiannon Gwyn-Jones & Matt Mang; grandsons, Arthur Herbert Gwyn Newland and William Gwyn Maxim Mang; sister, Bronwen Strevens.

Memorial services will be 11 a.m. Tuesday, August 27, 2024 in the funeral home chapel.
