Gary Anderson

Rincon- Gary Anderson, 64, passed away Sunday, March 13, 2011 at his residence.

Gary was born in Screven County, but made Effingham County his home. He was a member of First Baptist Church of Rincon and was the owner operator of Auto Repair Service for over 30 years. He was preceded in death by his father, Carrol Anderson.

He was kind, loving, and had a generous heart. A dedicated family man who loved his wife, children, and grandchildren (who called him "Graddy"). He was always interesting and truly unique. He will be missed by those he touched, but his spirit was the type that will always remain in our hearts.

Survivors include his wife of 45 years, Sandra Ray Anderson of Rincon; a daughter and son-in-law, Cathy and Tony Gadomski of South Guyton; a son and daughter-in-law, Kyle and Romana Anderson of Jackson Hole, WY; grandchildren, Rachel Ann and Erica Rae Gadomski of South Guyton; his mother, Lollie Anderson of Rincon; brothers, Gene and Eric Anderson of Rincon; sisters, Pam Mason and Janice Dickerson of Rincon; and numerous nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, and cousins.

Visitation: 2:30 – 4 pm Wednesday, March 16 in the funeral home.

Funeral: 4 pm Wednesday, March 16 in the funeral home chapel.

Interment: Rincon Cemetery
