Mr. Gene T. Rials, age 75, passed away July 27, 2018.  Gene retired from Gulfstream as Coordinator after 27+ years of service. He was a member of Compassion Christian Church where he volunteered regularly at The Lighthouse, and he loved to go fishing.  Gene was preceded in death by his wife, Marie, a son, Chris, and a brother, Leon.  He is survived by his son, Gregory G. Rials, of Richmond Hill; daughter, Kimberly (Jamie) Edwards, of Savannah; grandchildren, Page Edwards, Hailey Rials, Kelley Edwards, T. C. Rials, Joshua Rials; brother, Sonny (Yuvette) Rials, of Samson, AL; sister, Carol Ann Caddell, of Dothan, AL.  The family will receive friends at the funeral home Thursday evening, 5-8 PM. The funeral service will be Friday morning, 10:00 AM at Thomas C. Strickland and Sons West Chatham Chapel. Rev. Kenny Harrellson officiating.  Interment will follow at Westside Memorial Gardens.
