Guyton – Geneva Lawson Boyles, 93, passed away Sunday, March 14, 2021 at Spanish Oaks Retreat.

The Effingham County native was a longtime member of Guyton Christian Church and retired from Union Camp.  She enjoyed fishing and gardening.

She was preceded in death by her parents, S.L. and Carrie Heath Lawson; her husband of 75 years, Leonard M. Boyles, Sr.; sister, Willie Mae Burnett; and brother, W.C. Lawson, Sr.

Survivors include her daughter, Linda McDaniel (Ronnie); son, Leonard M. Boyles, Jr. "Lynn" (Mickey); grandchildren, Ron McDaniel (Amy), Kelly Strickland (Ryan), Jason Boyles (Mandy), and Jeffrey Boyles; great-grandchildren, Kendra McDaniel, Morgan McDaniel (Logan), Bryson McDaniel, Samuel, Simon, Silas, Abigail, and Abraham Strickland, Reagan Boyles and Lawson Boyles, Gracelynn Boyles and Graham Boyles; a special nephew, Lonnie Burnett; other nieces and nephews; and her special caregiver, Sarah Goldwire.

Funeral services will be 11 a.m. Wednesday, March 17, 2021 at Guyton Christian Church.

Interment will follow in Union Cemetery in Springfield.
