Mrs. Geneva Ann Williams, 96, of Savannah, GA, passed away on Sunday, November 5, 2023.

Geneva was born in Savannah and has lived here all of her life.  She was preceded in death by her parents, Walter Otto Barnard & Theresa Sellers Barnard, her husband, John Gordon Williams, Sr., her brother, Walter Leon Barnard, and two sisters, Sarah D. Cowart and Lois Fortner.  She loved her job as a school bus driver with the Chatham County Board of Education, retiring after 30 plus years.  She attended Silk Hope Baptist Church where she enjoyed cooking for the church camp.  She also enjoyed working in her yard.

Survivors include two sons, John Gordon Williams, Jr. (Sue) and Spencer Chance Williams; grandsons, Dusty Williams (Tiffany) and Hanz Williams; great-granddaughters, Kara Williams and Claire Williams; sister, Tobie Faye Odom, and several nieces, nephews, and cousins.

The memorial service will be on Saturday, November 18, 2023 at 2:30 p.m. in the chapel of the Thomas C. Strickland & Sons Funeral Home located at 901 W. Hwy. 80 in Pooler, GA.
