Pooler-Mr. George David Eisenhart, 72, passed away on Saturday, July 21, 2012 at St. Joseph's Hospital.
Mr. Eisenhart was born in Waverly, NY to the late Robert Gordon Eisenhart, Sr. and Cecilia Mary Tracey Eisenhart. He was also preceded in death by his wife, Betty Lea Hoffman Eisenhart. He served his country in the U.S. Army, enjoyed watching boat races and was also known as "Mr. Fix-It". He retired from Civil Service.
Survivors include three step-children, Richard, Howard and Donna Johnson; seven grandchildren; sisters, Sharon Roberts and Susan Cartwright; sister-in-law, Helen Eisenhart and several nieces and nephews.
The funeral to honor Mr. George's life was at 9:30 a.m. on Wednesday, July 25, 2012 in the chapel of the funeral home with Rev. Kenny Harrelson officiating. Pallbearers were Mike Tirpack, Richard Johnson, Daniel Spurling, Cody Johnson, Rusty Hendrix and Eddie Ryeback. Burial followed at Oak Hill Cemetery with military honors.
