George A. Jenkins
Springfield – George A. Jenkins, 79, passed away Friday, February 6, 2015.
The Effingham County native was a member of Corinth Baptist Church and retired from GA Pacific.
Survivors include his children, Joan Braudy and Robert (Tinker) Jenkins; granddaughter, Dorothy Braudy (Russell McKuhen); step-grandchildren, Jamie Gross, Casey Clifton, and J.C. Clifton; 3 great-grandchildren; and 6 step-great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. Saturday at the funeral home.
Funeral services will be 3 p.m. Sunday at Corinth Baptist Church.
Interment will follow in the church cemetery.
Remembrances may be given to Corinth Baptist Church Cemetery Fund, c/o Patricia Edwards, 239 Silver Hill Church Rd., Springfield, GA 31329.
