Mr. George E. Lee, 67, of Pooler, passed away on Thursday, October 13, 2016 at Memorial Health University Medical Center.
George was born in Los Angeles, CA to the late Albert E. & Audrey S. Lee. He was employed with Atlantic Freight of Savannah, and was a founding member of Lighthouse Baptist Church in Bloomingdale.
Survivors include his wife, Terry L. Lee; children, Dawn (Donald) Cole, Tamara (Keith) Campbell, Adam (Sherry) Holley, Lizzie (Jamie) Grant, and Thryn (Barry) Shapira; step-children, Wayne (Sandy) Mizell and Tonya (Ben) Hall; 21 grandchildren; 3 great-grandchildren; sisters, Leora (John) Bean and Ardath Lee; 1 niece, 1 nephew and special friend, Evelyn Walraven.
The memorial service will be on Saturday, October 15, 2016 at 3 p.m. at Lighthouse Baptist Church located at 310 Ash Street in Bloomingdale.
The graveside service and burial will be at 3 p.m. on Sunday, October 16, 2016 at Hillcrest Memorial Park located at 2700 Deans Bridge Road in Augusta.
