Obituary

George (Bob) Robert Pratt Jr. 81, passed away after a long illness on Oct. 10th surrounded by family at Hospice of Savannah. He was preceded in death by his parents, George and Myrtle Pratt; a brother, Harvey Pratt; and a sister, Marcia Phelps. He is survived by his wife of 58 Years, Anita L. Pratt; his son, George (Cheryl) R. Pratt III; his daughter, Candace (Robert) M. Pair; three granddaughters, Kristin, Amber, and Michelle, and a grandson Timothy, with many nieces and nephews. He loved his family and friends, woodworking, motorcycling and camping. Bob was a Decorated Army veteran with over 20 years of service. He was proud of his military service. He served one deployment to Korea and two Deployments to Vietnam. In 1974 Bob became a Freemason and Shriner. He was devoted to helping children by raising funds while a member of many units and clubs throughout his life. His final resting place will be in Arlington National Cemetery in Virginia.
A memorial Service will be held at St. John's Episcopal Church downtown Savannah Friday, Oct. 13, at 2:00 PM
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in his memory to the Shriners Hospitals for Children directly or via the Alee Temple in Savannah Georgia.
