Bloomingdale-Mr. George Robert Stewart, 85, passed away on Thursday, May 12, 2016 at his home.
Mr. Stewart was born in Savannah to the late Benjamin & Bessie Stewart. He retired as a Brick Mason, and enjoyed reading, watching TV, and fishing. He was a member of Faulkville Baptist Church.
Survivors include his wife, Geraldine Stewart; children, Teresa Craft, Sheila Haworth, Sharon Murray, Brenda Remmier, George Stewart, Jr., Randy Selph, Debra Hodges, and Cindy Hart; forty-four grandchildren and great-grandchildren; siblings, Joyce Mock, Raymond Stewart, Doris Woods, Daniel Stewart, and Lois Scott, as well as a number of nieces and nephews.
Visitation: 6-8 p.m. on Friday, May 13th at the funeral home.
Funeral: 10 a.m. on Saturday, May 14th in the chapel of the funeral home with burial to follow at Hillcrest Abbey West Cemetery.
