George E. Wasdin, 67, of Pembroke, GA, passed away on Friday, November 18, 2022.

George was born in Savannah, GA to the late Woodrow Franklin Wasdin and Norma Geraldine "Jerry" Thomas Wasdin.  He was also preceded in death by siblings, Gloria Ann Boring, and Gary Woodrow Wasdin.  He retired after 36 years of service from Union Camp/International Paper.  He was a "Jack of all Trades" and could practically do anything with his hands.  He enjoyed riding his tractor and was a jokester.  He will be remembered for his strong character.

Survivors include his wife, Laurie M Wasdin; children, Dana Cunningham, Christopher Wasdin, and Dianne Wasdin; grandchildren, Devin, Chandler, Cora, Grant, Nicholas, Kaiden, and Skylar; three great-grandchildren; siblings, Karen Brown (James), Esther Floyd, and Nolan Wasdin (Megan), as well as a number of nieces and nephews.

The visitation will be on Sunday, November 20, 2022 from 3 until 5 p.m. at the funeral home.  The celebration of George's life will follow at 5 p.m. in the chapel of the funeral home.
