Georgia Ann Lofton Scott

Springfield – Georgia Ann Lofton Scott, 66, passed away September 21, 2018 after a long illness.

The Effingham County native attended Maranatha Assembly of God and was a longtime member of Bethel Lutheran Church. She worked many years as an office manager in the medical field.  She was preceded in death by her parents, George Albert Lofton and Idella Lenora Gay Lofton.

Survivors include her husband, Steve N. Scott; children, Michelle Tebeau Edwards, Marcus Wade Tebeau, Timothy Mikell Tebeau (Ashlyn); 5 grandchildren, Jocelyn Tebeau, Laura Edwards, Sarah Edwards, Ella Grace Tebeau, and Nash Tebeau; sisters, Linda Heidt, Vickie Rutland (Jimmy); 2 step-children, Terry Scott (Jessica), Angie Neely; 5 step-grandchildren; a number of nieces and nephews; her mother–in-law and father-in-law, Dorothy and William Nathaniel Scott.

Visitation will be 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. Monday at the funeral home.

Funeral services will be 11 a.m. Tuesday in the chapel.

Interment will follow in Bethel Lutheran Church Cemetery.
