Obituary

Bloomingdale – Gerald Wesley Spivey, 49, went to be with the Lord on Wednesday, August 24, 2011.

Gerald was a resident of Bloomingdale for several years. He worked for Savannah Tank as a certified welder. He was a member of Bible Baptist church on Skidaway Road. He enjoyed riding his Honda motorcycle. He will be sadly missed by his mom, dad, daughter and family.

He is survived by his father, Gordon Watson Spivey; mother, Annie Beth Smith Spivey; daughter, Amanda Nichole Spivey Moore (Matt); sister, Sherry Lynn Spivey Ross (Larry); grandchildren, Kaley Ann Moore, William Andrew Moore, and Matthew Hunter Moore; several Aunts, Uncles, Cousins, Nieces and Nephews.

Job 1:21 And said, "Naked came I out of my mother's womb, and naked shall I return thither: The Lord gave and the Lord hath taken away, blessed be the name of the Lord."

Visitation: 6-8 p.m. on Friday at the funeral home.

Funeral: 1 p.m. on Saturday in the chapel of the funeral home with burial to follow at Elam Baptist Church Cemetery in Millen, GA.
