Aliceville, AL-Mr. Gerald "Jerry" Stacy Smiley, Sr., 66, passed away on Thursday, March 19, 2015 at his home.
Jerry was born in Metter, GA to the late Henry S. Smiley, Jr. & Helen Miness Smiley. He served his country in the U.S. Navy and was an avid outdoorsman.
Survivors include his children, Tammy Galvan, Stacy Smiley, Nolan Smiley, Chris Smiley, Justin Smiley, and Nick Smiley; 15 grandchildren; 5 great-grandchildren; three sisters and brothers-in-law, Janice & Waymon Bell, Kathy & Warren Radford, and Cindy & Ronnie Saxon; brother and sister-in-law, Ronnie & Janet Smiley; a number of nieces and nephews; best friends, Fred Palmer and Glen Harrison.
Visitation: 5-8 p.m. Monday at the funeral home.
Funeral: 10 a.m. Tuesday in the chapel of the funeral home with burial to follow at Gum Branch Baptist Church Cemetery near Hinesville.
