Geraldine Palmer

Miss Geraldine Palmer, 76, of Pooler, Georgia, passed away on Friday, April 3, 2026 at her home.

Geraldine will be missed by her son and daughter-in-law, Matthew and Jacquelyn H. Palmer; 13 grandchildren; sisters, Jacquelyn Byrd and Florence Allen, as well as a host of nieces and nephews.

Geraldine was born in Savannah, Georgia and was preceded in death by her parents, Charlie Byrd and Valerie Palmer; siblings, Michael Byrd, Marcus Byrd, Charle Byrd, Jr., and Charlesetta Bryd. Geraldine was a loving and caring person who never seemed to have a bad moment. She was always full of joy and fun to be around. She will be missed.

The memorial service to honor Geraldine’s life will be on Saturday, April 11, 2026 at 12 noon in the chapel of the Thomas C. Strickland & Sons Funeral Home – WEST CHATHAM CHAPEL located at 901 West Highway 80 in Pooler, Georgia.
