Gerard "Jerry" Dupont
Richmond Hill- Gerard "Jerry" Dupont, 88, died Tuesday, February 1, 2011 at Bryan County Health and Rehab under the care of Hospice Savannah.
The Canada native was a member of St. Anne Catholic Church in Richmond Hill and a retired auto mechanic. He had served in the US Army Air Corps during World War II. He was also a member of the American Legion, 450th Bomb Group Assn., and the Knights of Columbus.
Survivors include his wife, Rita Dupont; daughters, Yvette Carr (Pat) and Lucille Tillotson (Larry); sons, Roger Dupont (Kathie) and Raymond Dupont (Tracy); sisters, Marie Arsenault and Eugenie Robert; 6 grandchildren: and 2 great-grandchildren.
Visitation: 6-8 pm Friday in the funeral home with a prayer service at 7:30 pm.
Funeral Mass: 11 am Saturday, February 5, 2011 at St. Boniface Catholic Church.
Interment: Springfield Cemetery Annex at a later date.
