Mr. Glenn L. Smith, 86, of Savannah, and formerly of Pooler, passed away on Monday, January 4, 2021 at St. Joseph's Hospital.

He was born in Savannah to the late Pearlie Lee Smith and Mattie Ruth Brantley Smith.  He was also preceded in death by his wife, Betty Ruth Ratcliffe Smith.  He was a former member of the Pooler First Baptist Church where he was a Deacon and Sunday School teacher, and later was a member of Rothwell Baptist Church.  He retired from Union Camp.

Survivors include his son, Glenn Lee Smith, Jr.; grandchildren, Kimberly Johnson (Brad), Hollie Hart (Jeff), John Miller and Randy Miller; eight great-grandchildren; sister, Norma Beasley (James); brother, Larry Smith (Martha); sister-in-law, Brenda Smith; step-children, Harvey Nieslawski and Nancy Cribbett; step-son-in-law, Frank Haskins, and several nieces and nephews.

The graveside funeral and burial will be at 2:30 p.m. on Monday, January 11 ^th at Hillcrest Abbey West Cemetery located at 1336 Dean Forest Road in Garden City.
