Midway-Mrs. Glenna Jean Rogers, 70, passed away on Monday at her home.
Mrs. Rogers was born on May 25, 1942 in Huntington, West Virginia. She was preceded in death by her parents, Linden Hayden & Mary Rogers as well as a son, Eugene Terrell Rogers. She had worked for 14 years at Moss Oaks Nursing Home and for 11 years at Wisteria Gardens in Pooler.
She was the loving wife to her husband of 54 years, Eugene Talmadge Rogers; and loving mother to her children, Allen Dale Rogers (Sharman), Carl Wayne Rogers, Lonnie Gene Rogers (Cindy), Robin Gaye Burch and Jason Wade Rogers (Genevieve); 13 grandchildren, 15 great-grandchildren; several sisters, brothers, nieces and nephews.
Visitation: 5-8 p.m. on Wednesday at the funeral home.
Funeral: 1:30 p.m. on Thursday in the chapel of the funeral home with the graveside to follow at Anderson Church Cemetery near Collins at 4 p.m.
