Rincon – Gloria Jean Barnard, 81, passed away December 6, 2024at Memorial Health.

She was born in Savannah, GA to Homer & Dorothea Turner Burnsed. She was a member of North Salem Baptist Church and loved spending time with her family.

She is preceded in death by her husband, Carroll E. Barnard; daughter, Gail Ann Barnard; grandson, Robert Alan Ginn, Jr.; father, Homer Burnsed; mother, Dorthea Grace Turner Burnsed Brigdon; and step-father, Claude E. Brigdon.

She is survived by her daughter, Crystal Jean Barnard; sister, Glenda Joyce Screen; grandchildren, Jessica Nicole Neely (Richard), Sean Thomas Coleman (Amanda), and Heather Renee Sitton (Wesley); 4 great-granddaughters; 4 great-grandsons; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Visitation: 5:30 – 7:30 pm Monday, December 9, 2024 in the funeral home.

Graveside Service 11 am Tuesday, December 10, 2024 at Antioch Baptist Church Cemetery in Claxton, GA.
