Clyo – Gloria Joyce Causey Seckinger, 78, passed away December 11, 2021 at Memorial Health.

She was born in Chatham County but was raised and grew up in Furman, SC.  She worked many years in bookkeeping before retiring and  becoming a Nanny.  She was a member of Clyo United Methodist Church where she taught Sunday school, was Sunday school treasurer, worked with the children and youth.  She was a member of the Clyo Homemakers.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Ralph Causey, Sr. and Lily Rose Lightsey Causey.

Survivors include her husband, Porter Seckinger; daughter, Rosanne Maennche (Kerry); son, Candler Seckinger (Amy Lewis); grandchildren, Grayson Seckinger (Maci Varnell), Jackson Maennche (Kristen), Brannon Seckinger (Kerrigan), Jaydon Maennche, and Camdon Seckinger; brothers, Connor Causey and Rodney Causey (Nell); and several nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be 1 p.m. to 2 p.m. Wednesday, December 15, 2021 at the funeral home followed by funeral services at 2 p.m. in the chapel.  Honorary pallbearers will be the Clyo Homemakers Club.

Interment will follow in Cedar Grove Cemetery.
