Martinez, GA – Gloria Howard Hendrix Wren, 82, passed away Wednesday, February 18, 2015 in Augusta.
The Bulloch County native was preceded in death by her parents, Nathan Harold Howard and Etta Ruth Wells Howard; and her brother, Nathan Foy Howard of Giddings, TX. She was a homemaker.
Survivors include her husband, Joseph Richard Wren of Martinez; children, Brenda Hendrix Hartsfield of Rincon, Rodney Preston Hendrix (Judy) of Ellabell, and Deborah Hendrix Bowers (Kenneth) of Shawnee; step-son, Ricky Dean Wren (Akira) of Japan; 6 grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; brother, Donald W. Howard (Wanda) of Savannah; and several nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be 12 noon to 1 p.m. Saturday followed by funeral services at 1 p.m. in the chapel.
Interment will follow in Greenwich Cemetery in Savannah.
