Ms. Gloria Rossi Jordan, 96, of Port Wentworth, passed away on Monday, July 16, 2018 at Effingham Care Center.

She was born in Bryn Mawr, PA to the late Emidio Edward & Mary Letitia Rossi.  She was a 1940 graduate of Radnor High School in Radnor, PA.  She was a communicant of Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church in Port Wentworth since 1957 and was a very active member of the Parrish.  She served her country in the U.S. Navy from 1943 - 1946 and was a homemaker.  She was preceded in death by V. Bland Jordan.

Survivors include her sons and daughters-in-law, Richard & Jane Jordan, Jonas & Teri Jordan, Michael & Lisa Jordan; grandchildren, Juliette, Ricky (deceased) and Shirley; several great-grandchildren and a number of nieces and nephews.

The visitation will be on Thursday, July 19th from 6-8 p.m. with the Rosary to begin at 7 p.m. at the Thomas C. Strickland & Sons Funeral Home located at 901 W. Hwy. 80 in Pooler.

The mass of Christian burial will be on Friday, July 20th at 10 a.m. at Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church located at 501 South Coastal Hwy. in Port Wentworth.  Burial will follow at Forest Lawn Memory Gardens.

In lieu of flowers, remembrances may be given to Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church.
