Mr. Gordon Richard Kitson, 76, of Bloomingdale, Georgia, passed away on Thursday, November 6, 2025 at his home.

He is going to be missed by his wife of 33 years, Ginger Turner Kitson; son, Zachary Kitson (Reina Cruz-Kitson), three grandsons and a granddaughter in Florida; son Christopher Nettles, and two granddaughters, Zoey Brooke Nettles and Brylee Cheyenne Richey

Gordon was born in Bedford, Ohio, raised in Tampa, Florida, and had lived in Bloomingdale for many years.  He was preceded in death by his parents, Gordon Kitson and Dorothea Agnes Carey, as well as a half-brother.  He served his country in the United States Air Force and retired from both Gulfstream Aerospace and the National Oceanic Atmosphere Administration where he was a crew chief on a hurricane plane.  He was an animal lover, enjoyed golfing before he met Ginger, and enjoyed going with Ginger to the beach.
