Obituary
Pooler-Mrs. Grace S. Hopkins, 81, passed away on Monday, October 31, 2011.
Mrs. Grace was born in Queens, NY to the late Stanley & Laura Sherwood. She retired from the Sheraton Corporation, was an avid crocheter and a lover of horses. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Kenneth Hopkins and a daughter, Constance Layne.
Survivors include her children, Stanley & Kathy Layne of Meldrim, Donna Layne of Aberdeen, NC and Jay Williams of Virginia Beach, VA; step-son, Larry Layne of Bloomingdale; grandchildren, Michael, Lora, Amelia, Alisha, Brian and Brett and twelve great-grandchildren.
A memorial service will be held at 2 p.m. on Wednesday, November 2, 2011 in the chapel of the funeral home.
Remembrances may be given to Spanish Oaks Hospice, 8510 Whitefield Ave., Savannah, GA 31406.
