Mrs. Grace Kincey McGaughey
Pooler-Mrs. Grace Kincey McGaughey, 92, died on Saturday, September 22, 2007 at her
home.
Mrs. Grace was born in Alabama and had lived in Pooler for many years. She was a
member of Trinity United Methodist Church where she attended the Gleaners Sunday
School Class and she was a member of the Pooler Garden Club. She was a homemaker
and was preceded in death by her husband, James Cleveland McGaughey.
Survivors include two daughters and a son-in-law, Ann Strickland of Ponca City, OK and
Sue & Gary Stallcup of Pooler; five grandchildren, Lee & Dean Maniatis of New Orleans,
LA, Laurie & Jimmy Henderson of Ponca City, OK, John & Denise Strickland of
Bartlesville, OK, Amy & Michael Wilson of Ellabell and Scott & Abbie Stallcup of
Pooler; seven great-grandchildren, Matthew, Jamie and Luke, Maniatis of New Orleans,
LA, Kincey and Maddie Henderson of Ponca City, OK, Bridger Strickland of Bartlesville,
OK and Leighton Grace Stallcup of Pooler; four nieces and a nephew, Martha Howell of
Myrtle Beach, SC, Laura "Dolly" Runy of Columbia, SC, Joyce Kiser of Fort Walton
Beach, FL, Mary Tuttle of Savannah and Everett Youngblood of Middleburg, FL.
Visitation: 5-8 p.m. on Monday at the funeral home.
Funeral: 2 p.m. on Tuesday at Trinity United Methodist Church with burial to follow at
Garvel Hill Cemetery.
