Grady D. "Don" Bazemore, Jr.

Grady D. “Don” Bazemore, Jr., 61, of Nahunta, Georgia, passed away on Sunday, August 23, 2026 at his home.

Grady will be missed by his wife, Tammy Bazemore; son, Justin Blocker; step-children, William, Denise, and Chris; mother, Marie Bazemore; sister, Angie McGrady; grandchildren, Addison, Emmaline, Tyler, Gabe, Ry’Leigh, Jay Jay, Grayce, Parker, and Calvin; nephew, Justin McGrady; niece, Ashley Taylor; great-niece, Ellie; two great-nephews, Luke and Jack, as well as several aunts, uncles, and cousins.

Grady was born in Savannah, Georgia and was employed with Gulfstream for 28 years. He was preceded in death by his father, Grady D. “Donnie” Bazemore, Jr. and a sister, Donna Bazemore Spivey. He spent many years as a member of the Sons of Confederacy Veterans and enjoyed hunting, fishing, and riding Harley’s. He was a cabinet builder and enjoyed wood working.

The graveside funeral and burial to honor Grady’s life will be on Friday, November 20, 2026 at 2 p.m. at Forest Lawn Memory Gardens located at 315 Greenwich Road in Savannah, Georgia.
