Grady "DEAN" Turner, 64, of Brunswick, Georgia, passed away peacefully surrounded by family on Thursday, October 3, 2024, at Southeast Georgia Health System.

Dean was born in Savannah, Georgia and lived in the area until 2008 when he moved to Brunswick.  He was preceded in death by his parents, Grady Sibly Turner and Camilla Alford Turner.  Dean was a man of dedication, perfectionism, and hard work. Through his craftmanship and skill, he transformed countless homes, leaving behind a legacy of beautiful spaces and friendships developed with his clients. He was a huge NASCAR and Jaguars fan and loved the Dawgs.  He had a love for fishing, spending countless peaceful hours on the water, finding joy in the simple pleasures of nature.

Above all, Dean was a devoted family man. He cherished every moment, whether it be sharing stories or simply making them laugh with his quick wit. His love for his family was unwavering, and his warmth and laughter filled every room.

Though he is no longer with us, his memory will live on in the hearts of his family and friends, especially in those quiet moments by the water where he found his peace, and in the love and laughter he shared with his children and grandchildren.

Survivors include his fiancé, Kay Kinlaw; children, Rebecca Dean Smith (Austin), Evelyn Turner Gleason (Jacob), Amber Lee Turner, Naomi Christine Turner, and Tiffany Turner; grandchildren, Paisley Gleason, Braelynn Smith, Izzy Gleason, and Daniel Schell; brothers, David "Buddy" Turner and James "Tommy" Turner; several nieces, nephews, and his beloved dog, Daisy.

The visitation will be from 2 p.m. until 3 p.m. on Monday, October 14, 2024, at the funeral home.  The funeral to honor Dean's life will follow at 3 p.m. in the chapel of the funeral home.  The burial will follow at 5 p.m. at Eastside Cemetery in Statesboro, Georgia.
