Harley Kennis Ferris

Rincon – Harley Kennis Ferris, 72, passed away March 20, 2026 at Candler Hospital.

The Virginia native was a retired Painting Contractor who never met a stranger. He loved music especially playing the drums, enjoyed shooting his guns, and spending time riding his Harley. What brought him the greatest joy was spending time with his family. He was a member of Maranatha Family Church.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Harley Edward Ferris and Ruby Cogburn.

Survivors include his wife, Geraldine Ferris; daughters, Bridget Poston and Beverly Price; grandchildren, Camren Sims, Dylan Poston (Ashton), Ethan Hammock (Cadence), Lindsey Holmes (Brent), and Will Price, II; great-grandchildren, McKay Poston, Bode Hammock, McKinsey Gaskins, and Bowen Mitchum; sisters, Kay Ley (Herb) and Patricia Massey (Jan); brother, Rick Ferris (Dara); a number of nieces and nephews.

There will be a Celebration of Life on Saturday, April 11, 2026, at Marantha Assembly of God, 424 Weisenbaker Rd., Rincon, GA.  Visitation will be 11:00-11:30 a.m., service at 11:30 a.m. .
