Obituary
Port Wentworth - Harold Everett Buchannon, 67, passed away Tuesday, August 28, 2013 at Memorial Health University Medical Center. He was the son of the late Charles and Rosa Ellen Buchannon (Amburn).
Mr. Buchannon was a veteran of Vietnam, having served in the United States Air force. In recent years he worked as a currier for medical supplies and was of the Baptist faith.
He is survived by his son, Chad Buchannon of Ashland, Kentucky; three sisters, Robin Woodcock of Savannah, Sharon Clark of Glennville, and Karen Nichols of Shelbyville, Tennessee; three brothers, Rick Amburn of Glennville, Thomas Amburn of Columbus, and Delbert Kerby of Collins; his uncle, David Hunter of Parkersburg, West Virginia; his aunt, Irene Lott of Parkersburg, West Virginia; two grandchildren; and several nieces and nephew, including Zachary Woodcock of Savannah and Randy Amburn of Claxton.
A private service will be held at a later date.
