Port Wentworth-Mrs. Harriet Hoyle went to be with the Lord Friday morning, August 13, 2010.

Mrs. Hoyle was born in Celeron, NY to the late Charles Allen Kelly and Charlotte Menard Kelly. She was an active part of her husbands ministry. They have served, and are currently members of Chapel In The Gardens Presbyterian Church. They previously served churches in North Dakota, Albuquerque, NM, Charlotte, NC, Ashville, NC, and Boone, NC where they served Hebron Colony for more than 20 years. She was a Bible teacher in ladies circle's, a great encourager of others in the Lord, the author of her own advise filled cookbook, and a baker of fabulous specialty cakes. She was a book-keeper and a homemaker.

She is survived by her husband of 64 years, Rev. Robert I. Hoyle of Port Wentworth, son, Gary Hoyle of Boone, NC; daughters, Tina Glover and Margie Peterson, both of Port Wentworth; five grandchildren; sixteen great-grandchildren; and one brother, Louis Kelly of Arizona.

A private graveside funeral was held for the family at Hillcrest Abbey West Cemetery.

A memorial service to celebrate Mrs. Hoyle's life will be at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday, August 21, 2010 at Chapel In The Gardens Presbyterian Church in Garden City.
